Drs. Paula Cohen (Professor of Genetics, Biomedical Sciences; Director, Cornell Reproductive Sciences Center; Associate Vice Provost for Research and Innovation; Associate Dean for Research, College of Veterinary Medicine) and Marcus Smolka (Professor, Molecular Biology and Genetics; Interim Director, Weill Institute of Cell and Molecular Biology) were profiled in the Cornell Chronicle last week with an article highlighting their collaborative work on meiotic sex chromosome inactivation (MSCI), titled “Sperm formation step could hold clues to male contraception.”
